Art Students have been accepted to be published in the coffee table book "Celebrating Art Fall 2011"

Six students from George McDowell Exchange School in the Logan Elm School District have been accepted to be published in the coffee table book "Celebrating Art Fall 2011"  

Eighth grade artist Madison Allen, had her colored pencil drawing My American Rainforest accepted in this juried competition.  Jackie Richardson, also an eighth grader had her mixed media piece titled Egyptian Princess accepted.  Eighth grader Geric Martin had his colored pencil drawing The Green Machine accepted.  Euphraties, a watercolor painting by seventh grader Rachel Agosta was accepted.  Seventh grader Emma Olson had her watercolor painting titled The Lone Cold Tree accepted.  Jake Rhymer, a seventh grader had his watercolor painting Fruity Still Life accepted.  CelebratingArt.com works with schools and teachers in motivating young artists and recording and preserving art.  The full color hardbound book will bring together the best of today’s student artists and does not publish every piece of art work submitted to the competition.
