McDowell is  proud to announce the school winners of the Ohio Youth Art Month (YAM) Design a Flag Competition.  Eighth grade artist Jackie Richardson's graphic design was chosen to compete in the state YAM Flag contest sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association.  Her work will compete in the graphic design category of the contest.   Hugh Carstensen, a seventh grader will represent McDowell at the state level in the flag design category.
