| This Fall, McDowell Exchange School
implemented a school wide Positive
Behavior Support (PBS) Program.
Part of this program was to develop five school rules apart from the school code of
conduct. Our five rules focus on "Being Brave." Second Nine Weeks
incentives are listed below along with qualifications for each award level. Part of
our incentives program are BRAVE BUCKS. Brave Bucks can be awarded to any student,
at anytime, from any teacher. Brave Bucks are awarded to students "Being
Brave." Brave Bucks can then be placed in a drawing of the student's choice.
At the end of the nine weeks, the drawing will take place and the winners will be
awarded. |

|
These students have straight A (or O) report cards and no discipline
referrals this nine weeks.
They will earn: A Movie
A Pancake Breakfast
A Dance during 8th and 9th Period
Three Homework Passes

Silver Level |
|
These students have As and Bs (and no Us) and have not been assigned
Wednesday school, alternative school, or been suspended.
They will earn: A Movie
A Dance during 8th and 9th Period
Two Homework Passes

Bronze Level |
|
These students do not have Ds, Fs, or Us on their report cards for
the nine weeks and they have not been assigned alternative school or
been suspended.
They will earn: A Dance
One Homework Pass.
