Box Tops For Education

The McDowell Library conducted a BoxTops Collection Contest between

7th and 8th grade classes.  The contest began in November and ended in January.

The 7th graders collected over 1000 BoxTops and the 8th graders were very close with 980 BoxTops collected.  On February 14, the entire 7th grade class was treated to an

Ice Cream Sundae Party as a reward!

Circleville Kroger’s donated ice cream for this special event.

New library books will be purchased with the money received from submitting the BoxTops to General Mills.

The holiday season is quickly approaching and homes are bustling with baking those special cookies and breads, wrapping the gifts for that special someone, and visiting with family and friends! Perhaps some of the products you use for cooking and baking delicacies will be from General Mills. Included on each General Mills products are BoxTops 4 Education logos pictured below:

Would you please clip and send these BoxTops to school with your child? The McDowell Library is participating in this BoxTops 4 Education Program in an effort to obtain funds to update our library collection. Each BoxTop is worth $.10 when redeemed from General Mills.
