The McDowell Library conducted a BoxTops Collection Contest between

7^th and 8^th grade classes.  The contest began in November and ended in January.

The 7^th graders collected over 1000 BoxTops and the 8^th graders were very close with 980 BoxTops collected.  On February 14, the entire 7^th grade class was treated to an

Ice Cream Sundae Party as a reward!

Circleville Kroger’s donated ice cream for this special event.

New library books will be purchased with the money received from submitting the BoxTops to General Mills.

The holiday season is quickly approaching and homes are bustling with baking those special cookies and breads, wrapping the gifts for that special someone, and visiting with family and friends!
